Ive heard it a lot of times now and it works scaringly good for me.
I had so many situations where i seriously had no idea how old i was, or at least i needed to think about it properly.
Ive felt like a teen or something like that in most situations.
From things like "Hes talking about alcohol, dont know if i want to drink it when iam old enough..... (5-10 seconds passed) wait, IAM 19 years old, iam allowed to drink for 1-2 years now."
Or other situations like this "So they wanne know my age for this game, maybe iam just gonna make 4 years old ^^, but i dont lknow if iam alloweed to play it than..... tahn iam just gonna pick 18 so i can use everything....(another few seconds) WAIT, IAm 20 year old, i dont have to fake my age here!
